Can't upload a document

If you try to upload a document to the SmartMLS Sign platform and it fails, make sure the document:
  • Is a PDF.
  • Does not use unsupported encryption or security settings.
  • Is not password-protected.
  • Doesn't contain unsupported embedded objects.
  • Is not corrupted or improperly generated.
  • Doesn't exceed the current size limit (60MB per document).

If you encounter problems uploading a document, please try the following:

  1. Open the document.
  2. Select Print.
  3. Choose Microsoft Print to PDF (Windows) or Save as PDF (Mac).
  4. Save the newly generated file.
  5. Upload the new version.

This process often resolves issues that prevent documents from being uploaded.
