If you try to upload a document to the SmartMLS Sign platform and it fails, make sure the document:
- Is a PDF.
- Does not use unsupported encryption or security settings.
- Is not password-protected.
- Doesn't contain unsupported embedded objects.
- Is not corrupted or improperly generated.
- Doesn't exceed the current size limit (60MB per document).
If you encounter problems uploading a document, please try the following:
- Open the document.
- Select Print.
- Choose Microsoft Print to PDF (Windows) or Save as PDF (Mac).
- Save the newly generated file.
- Upload the new version.
This process often resolves issues that prevent documents from being uploaded.
